RED Summer Internship Scheme

Join us to celebrate the achievements of the RED Summer Internship Scheme and to hear about the 2015 Internship Scheme

The Summer Internship Scheme allows academics to apply for funding to pay for a student to work for 10 weeks over the summer on a Research or Knowledge Exchange project.

Last summer, 28 research internships were awarded to academic colleagues from across the university, providing opportunities for 33 students to participate in paid research internships.

To celebrate the achievements and outcomes of the projects, academic leads and students will present posters on their research activities, all of which have supported departmental and individual research activity, enabling students to develop their research interests, experience and skills.

The call for proposals for the Research Internship scheme for summer 2015 will open at the event and interested colleagues are invited to gain an insight into the wide range of Research and Knowledge Exchange activity which the scheme facilitates.  RED staff will be available at the event to discuss your initial ideas and provide guidance on criteria.

The new 2015 schemes which can support your Research and KE objectives will be launched at the event; please email with your intention to attend.

Space at the event is limited so please confirm by 17th September 2014.
