Did you know that the University has expertise in minimally invasive surgery?

On the 24th and 25th February, the Institute of Medical Sciences based at Rowan Williams Court will be delivering its 2nd Cadaveric Minimally Invasive Surgery Master Class.

The master class will be led by Professor Shetty, who is internationally renowned in the field of minimally invasive surgery techniques for orthopaedic cartilage repair.  He has been featured on ITV and Sky News for his pioneering research using stem cell technology.

The masterclass is sponsored by international equipment suppliers Arthrex and Smith and Nephew.

If you’re around the Medway Campus between 9am – 4pm on 24th and 25th February, please feel free to pop up to the skills lab and see what it’s all about.
