Leverhulme Trust Advice

We’ve just had an email from the Leverhulme Trust which offers notes to institutional approvers on some of the common errors made by applicants to their Research Project Grant scheme, which may prevent an application being accepted.

The Leverhulme Trust is one of several funders that require the applicant’s institution to approve the application via an online system prior to acceptance.  If you’re considering applying to Leverhulme Trust, or any other funder, please contact your faculty RKEDM early to find out if there are any specific procedures you need to follow for that funder. Meet the RED Team: Eileen Terry, RKE Projects Manager

Eileen TerryHi, I’m Eileen Terry and I am the Research and Knowledge Exchange Projects Manager in RED.

I am responsible for providing professional and specialist advice to academic and professional service colleagues on all aspects of post-award R&KE activity, including:

  • advising on contracts and project deliverables
  • management of budgets

If you’ve recently been awarded funding for an RKE project, I’ll arrange a project set-up meeting with you and other colleagues to discuss what you need to do next and help answer any queries you may have.

I also coordinate the development of the university’s Research and Knowledge Exchange Annual Report.

If you have any questions or need advice on any aspect of project management, please contact me eileen.terry@canterbury.ac.uk.
