Funding opportunities: British Ecological Society

Two calls are currently open for members of the British Ecological Society (BES), both opening new doors and opportunities. Both calls have a deadline of 5pm, Wednesday 21 March 2018.

Outreach grants – Members are invited to apply for up to £2,000 per project. These projects will be built around engaging with the public and different audiences.

Research Grants – Early career ecologists are eligible to apply for up to £20,000 in this funding, otherwise £5,000 is available for small projects.

Funding Opportunities – GCRF Networking Grants

Four major research funders have come together to offer a call for Networking Grants under the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF). The Academy of Medical Sciences, British Academy, Royal Academy of Engineering, and Royal Society will award up to 20 networking grants in this round, of up £25,000 each.
