Internships – Invitation to staff and students

Review of posters from the Summer 2018 University Internship Programme, 31th October 2018, 12.00 – 1.30pm, Augustine House, Main Hall.

For up to 10 weeks over the summer, students have been working with academic colleagues across the University on research and knowledge exchange projects, as paid interns.

To celebrate and disseminate the outcomes of the Internship Scheme this year, academics and their interns will present posters on their projects which have supported departmental and individual Research and KE activity, and enabled students to develop their research interests, experience & skills as well as develop their employability skills.

The presentations will start at 12.00, with refreshments and a buffet lunch from around 1.30pm. There will be a chance to chat with the interns and academics about their project and posters.

All staff and students are very welcome to come along, so please register your intention to attend by emailing , advising if you would also like to stay for lunch and refreshments (for catering numbers).

Please feel free to circulate this invite within CCCU, particularly if this scheme may be of interest to academics with potential internship project ideas, or to students who may want to apply for the next cohort.
