This month we launched a programme of engagement to explore how our Subject Networks should be shaped to ensure they are truly fit for the current and emerging needs of modern day HE. A number of round tables across the UK and online will take place in the next couple of months.
Jess Moody, Advance HE Senior Advisor, has been announced as Wonkhe’s ‘Social Media Wonk of the Year 2018’. The awards were held at the blog and think tank’s recent annual conference, ‘Wonkfest 2018’.
At the beginning of the month we celebrated the UK Teaching Excellence Awards winners at a ceremony in Edinburgh. On the night we brought together 54 new National Teaching Fellows and 15 Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) winners and shone a spotlight on 6 CATE winners for outstanding impact in this year’s awards.
Finally, we are delighted to announce the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the University of Derby in adopting our Student Success Framework. Through adoption of the framework the University will create a more consistent and integrated approach to curriculum design, as well as enhancing its digital offering.
