Since the end of 2014, The Sidney De Haan Research Centre for Arts and Health has been running a research project to explore the potential impact on participants’ mental health and wellbeing of regular group singing.
Working in partnership with Kent County Council, four groups were established across West Kent and Medway (in Chatham, Dartford, Maidstone and Sevenoaks), which met to sing weekly, led by skilled facilitators.
You are invited to attend the formal launch of the research report findings at which members of the groups will perform and a film of the project will be shown for the first time. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Further details can be found on the event flyer.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org by 18 November 2015 if you wish to attend.
