More volunteers needed as vaccine registry grows
We recently launched a call for the public to join the NHS COVID-19 vaccine research registry. This registry will accelerate recruitment in vaccine studies over the coming months. We’re delighted that more than 200,000 people have now signed up but still need more people to register. Researchers are looking for people with or without existing health conditions, from all backgrounds, ages and parts of the UK. People aged 65 and over, frontline workers and those from the black, Asian and ethnic minority communities are particularly invited to sign up. Sign up now Continue reading NIHR Newsletter

UKRI – Medical Research Council
UKRI open call for research and innovation ideas to address Covid-19 – Proposals are invited for short-term projects addressing and mitigating the health, social, economic, cultural and environmental impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak. Since we opened this competition in March 2020 the research and innovation community have responded with some excellent ideas and proposals. Sadly, Covid-19 is still with us, and robust solutions to many problems are still needed. That said, there are some areas that are already well funded, and others where few high-quality proposals have been submitted. For this reason, for this next phase of the call, we will focus on areas that fill gaps in the Covid-19 research and innovation landscape. Click title for more information.
